First day in Dublin

After a chaotic day of missed flights, phone snafus and other issues, I think we're finally ready to relax and have some fun. Here are a few pics from yesterday's jaunt through Dublin. The first is St. Patrick's Cathedral. The second is an evening shot of the River Liffey. The third is me enjoying a pint of Bulmer's! It's my favorite cider and not widely available in the U.S.

Today we're off to hike among the monastic ruins of the Wicklow Mountains in Glendalough. More to come!

I'm now just jealous. I would love to have joined you at the Pub, but not for a cider.

Missed flights!! Oh, I really hope that didn't include Nashville - if it did then it would fall on Mike and the stop at CT. :-)
Did you take the pics with your new camera?

Actually, I misspoke when I said missed flights. We are traveling with seven companions, and one of them had a flight delay getting in. She didn't get in until sometime Thursday evening and skipped the evening with us. But we're all together now!

Dennis: I know -- you would have been drinking a Guinness. Wish you and Cindy could have been there.

Tracey: Yes...I took these with the new camera.

Rick: I got a Nikon D3000.
